The Conservation Area lies to the east of Mount Cotton Road, Sheldon, bordering the Redlands Coast suburb of Mount Cotton. The 186ha reserve forms the upper catchment of Eprapah Creek. You can park the car and enter at any of the access points along West Mount Cotton Road. Be careful you do not trespass on surrounding land, as it is privately-owned.
This area is a local favourite with bushland venturers. It includes horse riding, mountain bike trails, bushwalking, bird and butterfly watching with a medium walk on a graded track with some steep grades.
