Alexandrina Cheese Company is situated amidst a working dairy farm located in Mount Jagged, near Mount Compass, in the heart of the Fleurieu Peninsula, South Australia.
Alexandrina Cheese Company make cheeses and other dairy produce using the highest quality milk produced by their own Jersey cows. Jersey milk is renowned for its full flavour and rich creamy quality. Their handmade produce is made using traditional methods supported with the combined knowledge of four generations of farmers and cheese makers.
Visitors are welcome to visit The Cheesery on weekends and public holidays when they are open for tasting and sales. The cafe is a great stop for an Alexandrinashire Tea, espresso coffee, milkshakes and cheese platters, all made from the milk of our beautiful Jersey cows.
Visitors can view the processing room through a window and they are free to sit and enjoy the sweeping rural views of the surrounding valley.
