The Bendigo Soldiers Memorial Institute Military Museum building is a significant landmark both for the residents of the City of Greater Bendigo and for visitors.
The Bendigo Soldiers Memorial Institute Military Museum (SMIMM) was recently redeveloped and officially re-opened on November 15 2018, exactly 97 years after the initial opening of the building in 1921.
The museum is home to a broad range of wartime memorabilia that has either been donated or loaned by individuals and organisations.
Open daily from 10:00am to 4:00pm and manned by staff and volunteers the SMIMM welcomes large group bookings by appointment
