Situated in the centre of the city, Cave Gardens feature a sinkhole that was the original source of water for the early settlers. Its beauty and significance can be appreciated from the viewing areas above and you can also walk down into the cave and venture out onto the suspended viewing platforms for an awesome view into the cave.
Every evening a spectacular sound and light show tells our Indigenous Dreamtime stories. Best viewed down in the cave, times vary due to season and daylight savings.
The cave has recently undergone major re-development, which includes the filtering of the water, viewing platforms and floodlighting. Christmas lights and a nativity scene are featured from late November to January.
Famous for its roses, the Cave Gardens is a great place for a picnic.
