Mount Solitary is an isolated plateau and at 919 metres it dominates the landscape of the Jamison Valley and can be seen from all vantage points along the eastern escarpment. Rising 165 metres above the valley floor and about four kilometres long, it is a prominent landmark for walkers and sightseers.
Experienced walkers can venture out to Mount Solitary but please be well prepared and plan your walk in advance.
