Step back in time at the Wagin Historical Village and check out the 26 faithfully restored and replica buildings all themed in the original style of the 1890s. They have restored or rebuilt much of the rural village including the village church, town hall, school, various shops and the outside 'dunny'! Listen to the audio commentaries depicting the life of settlers during this era and examine the wide range of machinery and equipment on display throughout the village. Stop at the Tourist Information Centre located within the village for information on the region's history. Inspect the range of souvenirs on offer or stop for lunch and a Devonshire tea. Wagin is a three hour drive southeast of Perth. You can't miss the nine metre tall giant ram that welcomes you to the rural town. Be sure to stop and have your photo taken in front of the ram, which was built as an acknowledgement to the contribution Wagin has made to the wool industry.
